Self- Directed ASL + Live Sessions
This is a self-directed ASL learning program, offering videos that can be reviewed at your own pace. There will be checkpoints to ensure students have grasped all the necessary skills for each lesson. This self-directed learning will take up to 4 weeks to complete. After which, students are expected to attend 4 sessions of the live class, spanning over 2 weeks.

Students will be assessed on several measures from both the checkpoint assignments, as well as participation and execution during the 2 week live classes. Checkpoints will be short, self-filmed videos, presented to the instructor for feedback. At the end of the 6 weeks, students will receive a Completion Card to prove eligibility for the next course.

Self-Directed Learning with One ASL Final Assessment

At the end of the last module, the student will choose a date for their virtual final assessment, which will consist of a live 1 hour discussion with the instructor.
